The correct scientific name is Nepenthes (lowii x macrophylla) x robcantleyi. The female parent is N. x trusmadiensis created and raised in our nurseries and the male parent is the giant black N. robcantleyi, with the cultivar name ‘King of Spades’. We waited a long time to create this cross, harvesting the first seed in Feb 2016, originally introducing it as a very limited number of seed-grown plants through our wholesale auctions between June 2020 and Feb 2021. This item consists of a random selection from a huge number of different clones, and the diversity of colouration and form between individuals is just amazing! The photos and videos here illustrate just a few of them.
