Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee all plants will arrive alive and healthy. This means the plant will not show any distress beyond what is expected from shipping. Minor cosmetic damage, such as brown leaves, dead pitchers or traps, and some older roots showing signs of decay, is normal and does not impact the plant's long-term health. 

If there are any health issues upon arrival, contact us at contact@kingkarnivores.ca within 2 hours of delivery, providing photos of the entire plant and packaging. We will address any issues promptly. 

The live arrival guarantee may be voided in the following conditions:

  • if the customer fails to provide a deliverable address
  • if the customer does not collect the package on the first delivery attempt
  • if the customer does not provide a signature at delivery
  • if the customer instructs the carrier to leave the package without a signature
  • if the package is delivered to an outdoor community mailbox (indoor condo/apartment mail rooms are fine)
  • if the package is delivered to a Canada Post FlexDelivery address and is not picked up within 24 hours
  • if the plant has heat/frost damage and the customer did not purchase an insulated shipping kit

If you have a outdoor community mailbox or cannot be available when packages are usually delivered, we strongly suggest you use a Canada Post FlexDelivery address. See more details and sign up here. If you live in a condo/apartment, make sure you sign up for delivery notifications so you are notified when your plants are delivered and can make a live arrival guarantee claim within the 2 hour time period, if necessary. 

Our live arrival guarantee may seem strict however it is because packages can get very hot very quickly when left outside in the sun. The guarantee is intended to protect customers from mishandling during transit but not negligent reception of plants by customers. Thank you for your understanding.
