Microlicia benthamiana is a small, densely branched shrub from the Guiana Shield, particularly associated with tepui habitats in Venezuela. It has slender branches, small narrow leaves, and attractive pink to lilac flowers. It is a characteristic member of the Melastomataceae found in open, rocky tepui vegetation, where it grows under exposed and relatively cool conditions. Price quoted is for a portion; each portion contains 1+ plant or clump; min. 4-8 cm tall. The botanical identification of these rarely available plants has been made to the best of our current knowledge and based on the information available to us, as well as the size and characteristics of the plants.
