Two very different-looking parent species combine to create this interesting cross. Nepenthes. tenuis seems to give a flanged appearance to the peristomes on many of the hybrids we have created with it, and this is a good example. Also, the wide altitude distribution of Nepenthes. eustachya (0-1600 m) makes this a cross an easy grower under a broad range of temperature conditions. It’s a particularly prolific producer of pitchers, which hang in attractive cascades on their long tendrils. There is some difference between some of the clones, as can be seen by comparing the first and last photos in the series here and also shown on the videos.
History: First introduced in April 2019.
Climate: 'Intermediate', which means it will flourish in a wide range of temperatures. We have tested it from 12 - 32 deg. C (54 - 90 deg. F), although it will tolerate temperatures outside this range.
