This is one of our favourite crosses and it’s a true delight, becoming larger and more spectacular every time we look at it! We have made it several times in the past using random male parents and a similar item is still sometimes available under BE-3730. However, this item is different, in that we used a very specific selected clone of N. veitchii as the male parent, which has the cultivar name ‘Gold Rush’. The actual male parent is also shown here. This item differs from BE-4578 in that they are raised from seeds from the parent grex and therefore of limited edition. History: First introduced in Nov 2024.
Climate: 'Highland'. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will certainly tolerate temperatures well outside this range.
