The female parent is the superb clone of Nepenthes robcantleyi, with the cultivar name ‘Queen of Hearts’, which has been exhibited world-wide many times. The male parent is a selected seed-raised clone of the beautiful Nepenthes aristolochioides x spectabilis, formerly sold under BE-3025. The particular form of Nepenthes. aristolochioides x spectabilis used in this cross has the incomparable giant Nepenthes spectabilis as the male parent.
History: First introduced in Nov 2018.
Climate: 'Highland'. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will certainly tolerate temperatures well outside this range.
