We are always delighted at how beautiful hybrids with N. ‘Viking’ can become as they mature. As the photos and videos here show, this item is exceptionally lovely, combining the red-striped peristome and speckled pitcher body of Nepenthes spectabilis with the pink-hued gradation and wide fringed wings of Nepenthes ‘Viking’. Hybrids don’t always take on the best characteristics of both parent species, but this one certainly does!
History: First introduced in May 2022.
Climate: 'Intermediate', which means it will flourish in a wide range of temperatures. We have tested it from 12 - 32 deg. C (54 - 90 deg. F), although it will tolerate temperatures outside this range.
