This item was given to us by the late Phil Mann from Perth, Australia, who was a close friend for many decades. It’s of a single clone and as the photos show, it can be distinguished from all other clones of the species by its overall rust-red hue. In honour of its breeder, we have given it the cultivar name Nepenthes veitchii ‘Phil Mann’. History: Originally introduced and occasionally offered in very limited numbers on our wholesale auctions between Oct 2017 and May 2024. It was then unavailable for two years before being added to our shop in and put on general availability for the first time in May 2026.
Climate: 'Intermediate', which means it will flourish in a wide range of temperatures. We have tested it from 12 - 32 deg. C (54 - 90 deg. F), although it will tolerate temperatures outside this range.
