This cross compounds four of the most iconic species from Sabah and is large and spectacular in every way. All four of the parent species grow in close proximity in habitat, so it’s most likely that despite its complexity, this hybrid would have existed naturally at some point in the past. A highly rewarding variety to grow, it often shows considerable variability between individuals. For that reason, we combined several hundred different clones produced from two greges, obtained at different times, and we are now seeing the expected variability in the output. The photos shown here have been chosen to illustrate this.
History: First introduced in July 2019.
Climate: 'Highland'. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will certainly tolerate temperatures well outside this range.
